While we make sure that our candles are created properly, please remember that they are still an open flame! With that in mind, make sure to follow the following simple guidelines:

• Never leave a candle burning unattended!
• Ensure that any time you leave the room, the candle is completely out and there is no remaining embers.
• Always place your candle on a solid, heatproof surface!
• Make sure that you do not place your candle on any plastic surface. We recommend placing your candle on a solid surface such as wood.

• Never move a burning candle!
• Ensure that your candle is ideally situated before you light it, and once it is burning do not move it. Make sure that you do not place your candle near any flammable items.

 In order to get the absolute most out of your candle, we recommend you follow a few simple tips:

• Always trim your wick!
• Make sure that you always trim your wick to approximately 3mm before every use. This will keep the flame from getting too large and make your candle last longer!
• Burn your candle for 2 hours for the first burn!
• Always burn your candle for at least 2 hours the first time. Make sure that the melted wax is covering the entire top of the candle, all the way to the edge of the jar, otherwise a lot of wax might end up being wasted.
